Hi everyone
Not much to report on this week. I should be receiving the manuscript back from Fantastic Books…*checks watch* any hour now.
Last night I sent out the sixth newsletter to all Indiegogo supporters who pledged to the newsletter level or above. That’s the last of these newsletters I will be doing. Further newsletters will be through the Garry Clan news service, which you can join via the link below.
While the Fantastic Books Publishing kickstarter was going on I made a video talking about the history of tie-in fiction – where it started, how it has evolved and where Fantastic Books were taking it. It didn’t get aired during the kickstarter, but I thought it was worth putting up on you tube anyway as I think there is some value there. Unfortunately, although the video has some reasonable quality on the computer, when I uploaded it to you tube, all 500mb of it, for some reason the quality is rubbish. (UPDATE: If you use the link below and go to full screen it actually appears ok…) I’ll update it on my next broadband cycle (I keep running out of bandwidth – how can I use 40gig a month when all I do is look at websites? (and maybe upload something to youtube}?)
Anyway apologies for the visuals but the sound is ok and you can check it out here:
Well that’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
John
